Job summary

27J Schools is seeking a Head Coach for Girls Diving at Brighton High School in the Denver metro area. The role reports to the Athletic Director and supports the athletics program at Brighton High School (9-12).

The position requires prior high school or college coaching experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage schedules, camps, and budgets while upholding CHSAA policies.

Qualifications

• Previous high school or college level coaching experience required.
• Knowledge of CHSAA policies and student eligibility.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop schedules, fundraisers, camps and awards events.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and coaching of student athletes at all levels of the program.
• Supervise and work closely with assistant and volunteer coaches.
• Communicate with athletic director and athletic secretary about athletes' needs and concerns.
• Assist in developing a schedule, fund raisers, camps and awards banquet.
• Direct and supervise instructional and conditioning camps throughout the year.
• Oversee budget and inventory for the program.
• Communicate with coaching staff, athletes, parents and the community.
• Promote student athletes and assist with academic eligibility.
• Assist with scholarships and financial aid information.
• Follow league, district and CHSAA policies and regulations.
