Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role located in Bronx, NY, with a competitive stipend, for Head Coach of the Girl's Varsity Basketball team. The Head Coach will be responsible for planning and conducting practices, developing game strategies, and managing the team's overall performance. The Head Coach will also be expected to mentor student-athletes, foster a positive team culture, and ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in coaching basketball, particularly at the high school level
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment
• Knowledge of sports safety and first aid practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education,Sports Management, or a related field preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification is required
