Qualifications

• At least two years of experience as a varsity coach at the high school level or two years as an NCAA/professional player in the sport
• Ability to explain, demonstrate, and analyze fundamental skills and strategies
• Must meet CIF coaching requirements and certifications
• Ability to communicate with and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
• Knowledge of CIF Rules and Regulations pertaining to the sport applying
• Ability to manage online athletic team tools (Google Sheets/Drive, Home Campus, MaxPreps)

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions to promote skill development and sportsmanship
• Prepare field/courts on game day and manage logistics for lower level competitions
• Coordinate with athletic director to schedule games and ensure compliance with CIF rules
• Instruct and advise student-athletes on NCAA regulations regarding scholarships and recruitment
• Communicate with parents/guardians and school staff to align on program goals
• Oversee equipment, uniforms, and safety protocols to protect student-athletes
