Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in West Des Moines is seeking a Head Fitness Coach to lead a studio team and guide members through energizing, heart-rate focused workouts while upholding the OT brand standards. You will motivate participants, correct form, demonstrate equipment use, stay current with scientific training principles, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional member experiences.

Certification and CPR/AED are required; OT Growth Partners supports a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness.
• AED/CPR certified is required.

Responsibilities

• Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts.
• Ensuring members use correct form and offering corrections when needed.
• Understanding the science behind our workouts, specifically heart-rate focused training.
• Demonstrating usage for every piece of equipment used in workouts.
• Being a team player and collaborating with staff to deliver great experiences.
• All other duties as assigned by studio leadership.

As a Head Fitness Coach you can expect to perform the following duties:

• Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
• Making sure members are using the correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t
• Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart‑rate focused training programs in general and being aware of what the competition is doing
• Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
• Being a team player
• All other duties as assigned

Additionally, you’ll need to meet these requirements:

• Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness
• Be AED/CPR certified
