Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Fort Smith, AR seeks a Head Fitness Coach to lead a dynamic team and inspire members through high-energy workouts. You will coach, motivate, and guide participants to achieve More Life while upholding safety and form standards.

Responsibilities include teaching heart-rate based workouts, correcting technique, and collaborating with staff to ensure engaging coaching across all studio sessions. A current fitness certification and CPR/AED are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current fitness certification from an approved provider.
• AED/CPR certified.
• Passionate about fitness and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts.
• Ensure members use correct form and provide corrections.
• Understand science behind heart-rate focused training and know competitors’ approaches.
• Demonstrate proper usage of all equipment in every workout.
• Be a team player and support studio goals.

As a Head Fitness Coach you can expect to perform the following duties:

• Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts


• Making sure members are using the correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t


• Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general and being aware of what the competition is doing


• Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout


• Being a team player

Additionally, you’ll need to meet these requirements:

• Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness


• Be AED/CPR certified
