Sea Sprite Beach Club was established in 1964 as the first hotel in Hermosa Beach and has been a cherished retreat for travelers seeking oceanfront serenity, a small-town feel and the beach lifestyle soaking in the essence of SoCal. The newly renovated chic boutique hotel offers 34 thoughtfully appointed rooms and suites, blending historic charm with refined coastal comfort. From local partnerships to community events, the hotel takes pride in supporting the vibrant culture of the beachside town with a mindful commitment to sustainable practices.

Sea Sprite lies steps from the sand with direct access to The Strand’s 22-mile oceanfront path, offering modern food and beverage amenities, including Surfer Girl, a new all day restaurant. Surfer Girl features California coastal flavors, a freestanding wood-fired grill, and stunning unobstructed ocean views. A rooftop lounge sits atop the lobby for drinks overlooking the beach.

Sea Sprite Beach Club is bringing on a talented and dedicated Head Chef to oversee the culinary program. Chefs should be excited about modern coastal cuisine and comfortable executing an opening menu, while bringing their own creative contributions to future seasonal updates. Ideal candidates will be highly collaborative and approachable by nature, enjoying making a big impact working alongside a small crew. This is a hands-on role overseeing daily operations, including admin and service. The chef will work closely with senior leadership on operations and creative components. This is an amazing opportunity for an up-and-coming chef looking for mentorship and to take the next step in their career!

Compensation includes base salary in the $80-90k range, medical, dental and vision benefits, PTO plan, 401k and parking.
