Head Cashiers greet and thank every customer entering and leaving the store. They must be proficient in all aspects of the Cavender's Boot City cashiering system and knowledgeable about all related paperwork. Responsibilities include maintaining store cleanliness, answering phones professionally, and supporting management with tasks like stocking, visual displays, and special orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the company's Mission, Vision, and Values
• Perform cashiering tasks accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a neat and organized work environment
• Stay informed about CBC policies and procedures
• Handle various cashiering transactions (cash, check, credit, voids, exchanges)
• Enter all sales and cash accurately at the register
• Assist with stocking and store organization
• Promote store specials and suggest add-on purchases
• Arrive promptly, groomed appropriately, and dressed suitably
• Maintain security awareness at all times
• Respond knowledgeably to phone inquiries regarding sales, promotions, and inventory
• Stay updated on sales and promotions
• Practice inventory control on boots and check for mis-mates
• Follow company policies on commission sales and validate sales tickets
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet company goals
