SUPERVISOR : Director of Food Service

SUMMARY :

Under Supervision of Food Service Manager, operates cash register and deposits money collected from food service operation.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

None

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :

  • Checks trays and receives cash.
  • Operates cash register rapidly and accurately.
  • Watches trays for size of portions served by servers.
  • Prepares deposit daily.
  • Help to provide attractive, nutritious foods to encourage student participation and dailyattendance.
  • Assumes any other duties as may from time to time be delegated by the supervisor and the supervisor may make any adjustment in the scope of responsibilities as outlined above which will be in the interest of the school district.
  • All administrative actions must be in concert with the mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters found in the strategic plan of the Rockford Board of Education.
