Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Sturtevant, Wisconsin is seeking a Head Cashier to reconcile cash receipts, manage payroll data, and perform duties of a Retail Cashier and Customer Care Desk Clerk to ensure a smooth shopping experience. The role requires strong communication, retail experience preferred, weekend availability, and the ability to pass a background check.

Base pay up to $15.25/hour with a $2.50/hour weekend premium; eligible for comprehensive benefits after 91 days of full-time employment,

Responsibilities

• Reconcile cash register receipts and prepare bank transactions
• Monitor, correct, and submit payroll information

• Balance registers and the store safe; transport and reconcile reserve money
• Order and maintain store office supplies; balance DNR receipts
• Manage Gift Registry and assist customers; support other departments as needed
• Demonstrate awareness of Loss Prevention and safety policies

Job Duties

The Head Cashier would reconcile cash register receipts and prepare bank transactions. They would also monitor, correct, and submit payroll information, and perform all duties of a Retail Cashier, and Customer Care Desk Clerk, along with other assigned duties that would ensure that the customer has an efficient, pleasant shopping experience.

• Fill the registers with change
• Balance the store safe
• Transport of reserve money to and from the bank
• Reconcile reserve money
• Order and maintain store office supplies
• Balance DNR receipts
• Complete and file required paperworkManage Gift Registry and assist customers
• Help in other departments as assigned
• Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures
