Responsibilities

1. Ensure excellent customer service through proactively visiting registers and providing support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
2. Assist with customer assistance issues at the register.
3. Assign store sweeps, monitor/maintain cash register supply levels, and uphold cleanliness standards.
4. Maintain visibility of exit doors for security and loss prevention.
5. Schedule and oversee proper meal and rest breaks in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
6. Assist in hiring, training, and disciplinary actions for Cashiers.
7. Thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old, high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, good customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts with force up to 35 lbs.
• Proficiency in cash handling, math, reading, writing, and counting.

Pay Range

$16.70 - $22.55/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
