Job summary

Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools seeks a Head Caretaker (Building Checks) to oversee safety and maintenance across four units. The role requires a Fireman's Certificate for boiler checks and involves building security, mechanical monitoring, and scheduled checks at several schools.

Work is 3.0 hours per day (7:30 to 10:30 a.m.) with weekend/holiday coverage and a travel allowance between locations. Start date is TBD; Closing date is 2026-10-26.

Qualifications

• Fireman's Certificate required for boiler checks.
• Preference for current staff demonstrating leadership, communication, reliability, and Catholic Education values.

Responsibilities

• Perform building checks, security, and monitor mechanical and heating systems.
• Work on weekends and holidays; travel between locations with allowance.
• Assist in coordinating caretaker duties with minimal supervision.
