The Frederick Gunn School in Connecticut seeks a Head Baseball Coach to lead a competitive, values‑driven program for student‑athletes in a boarding and day environment.

You will oversee all facets of the program, mentor players, plan practices and game strategy, and work with Admissions and athletics staff to support recruitment, integrity, and athletic excellence. The role may expand to a 10‑month, full‑time position by combining with the Assistant Director of Admissions role.

Formación

• Experience coaching baseball at the high school level or higher.
• Proven track record in student‑athlete recruitment and program development.
• Willingness to learn boarding school culture and policies.

Responsabilidades

• Teach and develop fundamental baseball skills and game strategy.
• Plan structured practices, indoor workouts, and pre‑season sessions.
• Manage lineups, pitching rotations, and in‑game decisions.
• Coordinate with trainers on player health and safety.
• Support recruiting and liaise with Admissions and families.
• Oversee logistics, travel, and equipment for the program.
