Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Bartender to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our restaurant and bar, while also leading and inspiring our bartending staff.

Responsibilities:
Bar Operations:
  1. Oversee all aspects of the bar operation, including inventory control, cash handling, and staff scheduling.
  2. Develop and implement creative and profitable drink menus.
  3. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked bar environment.
  4. Train and mentor bartenders on proper drink preparation, service techniques, and responsible alcohol service.
  5. Ensure efficient and friendly service to all bar patrons.
  6. Assist the General Manager with daily operations, including scheduling, payroll, and guest relations.
  7. Maintain a positive and professional work environment for all staff.
  8. Address guest concerns and ensure their satisfaction.
  9. Participate in inventory management and cost control measures.
  10. Assist with hiring, training, and development of all restaurant staff.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a bartending and/or leadership role within the restaurant industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, liquor laws, and responsible alcohol service practices.
  3. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure guest satisfaction.
  4. Proven leadership abilities with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and motivating staff.
  5. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  7. Proficient in basic cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
  8. Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
