Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality customer service according to company standards and policies.
  • Oversee bakery operations and staffing as needed.
  • Plan daily and weekly production, staff assignments, and scheduling.
  • Supervise bakery staff and provide training.
  • Monitor the quality of goods and services.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area, including display cases, work surfaces, and bakery displays.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and employee safety regulations and company policies.
  • Inform customers about bakery products and services, offer samples, and promote sales.
  • Take bakery orders in person or over the phone.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records.
  • Measure ingredients for baking and prepare batters, doughs, fillings, and icings.
  • Mix ingredients using appropriate equipment.
  • Shape dough and related products for baking.
  • Bake dough in ovens and prepare baked goods for display.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
  • Order ingredients and supplies as needed.
