Job summary

Crumbl Cookie is seeking a head baker in Houston, Texas. The head baker will ensure that every cookie meets high customer and corporate quality expectations. Responsibilities include monitoring crew members during baking processes, communicating quality issues with kindness, and maintaining a high standard in cookie production. Ideal candidates will exhibit exemplary baking skills, strong communication abilities, and effective leadership. This role requires at least 20 hours in-store per week.

Our head baker is responsible for ensuring that every cookie meets customer (and corporate) expectations.

A head baker should have the following qualifications:

• Shows exemplary quality in their work with mixing, balling, and dressing cookies.
• Has good communication skills and can speak up when they see poor quality.
• Has high expectations and good leadership skills.
• Maintains at least 20 hours in the store
• Monitors and observes crew members on mixing, balling, baking, and dressing.
• Communicates directly with crew members when quality issues are observed. Critiques with kindness.
• Educates and informs crew members of real-time issues, how the issue is being fixed, and how to prevent the issue in the future.
• Ensures all crew members are following baking processes such as thaw times, bake times, and rest times.
• Communicates with Corporate team to ensure quality standards are being met
