Job summary

Oldham County Schools is seeking a Head Coach at South Oldham High School to coach multiple middle and high school sports and supervise assigned assistant coaches. The role operates as a one-year stipend position reporting to the Principal and Athletic Director.

Employment is on an as-needed basis with stipend commensurate to the district’s extracurricular sponsor schedule. Coaching contracts are renewed annually based on principal recommendations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or GED.
• 64 semester hours of college credit, or KHSAA training as specified.
• 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assistant coaches on one or more sports.
• Read and follow oral and written directions.
• Read, interpret, apply and explain game rules and policies.
• Lift heavy objects.
