Position: BC/BE, fellowship trained head and neck surgeon / otolaryngologist
The University of Rochester is seeking a qualified candidate to join the faculty of the Otolaryngology department at the Wilmot Cancer Institute, the largest cancer center in Western New York. The successful applicant will join an established comprehensive head and neck and thyroid cancer service line.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to practice the full range of academic head and neck oncologic surgery with an established multidisciplinary team that serves the greater Rochester area and a broad area of western New York. Resident teaching and scholarly activities are required. Research is strongly encouraged, and protected research time and resources are available for candidates seeking a career as a clinician-scientist. Microvascular and reconstructive training are welcomed but not required.
Board certified/board eligible residency-trained otolaryngologist who is fellowship trained in head and neck oncologic surgery and is licensed or license-eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the state of New York.

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
