Job summary

PlayCore in Fort Payne, AL seeks an experienced CNC router operator to program, set up, and run CNC machines to produce plastic and wood parts. You’ll read blueprints, adjust settings, and ensure parts meet tolerances while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include managing daily workflows, coordinating with teammates, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using hand tools as needed. No formal education is required, but hands-on CNC experience or training is essential.

Summary

Produces both plastic and wood parts by programming, setting up, and operating both numerical control CNC Machines, packaging, assembly, loading, mechanical drills, saws, sanders, and other hand tools while maintaining quality and safety standards. Enter production into shop order program while maintaining equipment and supplies. Also, responsible for duties in HDPE Associate 1 if necessary.

• Dexterity: Employee would work with their hands and need to be able to lift or hold heavy items
• Reporting: Claim and report work as completed to supervisor or lead
• Reads blueprint, files or programs for CNC jobs for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and instructions such as machine settings, textures and determines sequence of operations.
