Although Hajoca is a large company, each location, called Profit Centers (PCs), operates like a small business, managed by a Profit Center Manager. Each PC includes a warehouse, counter, sales office, and sometimes a showroom, operating under unique trade names tailored to local markets.

Sandale Utility Products is one of these trade names and is seeking a HDPE Pipe Fitter at our Houston, TX location.

Pay rate for the HDPE Pipe Fitter is between $22 and $32 per hour at this location.

About the Role:

You will:

  • Perform quality fusion welding, fabrication, production, and installation of HDPE piping, ranging from 1/2" to over 65" diameters, on municipal, industrial, mining, oil & gas sites, and in-house projects at our McKinney, TX location.
  • Become certified and trained in operating McElroy Fusion equipment per ASTM standards.
  • Utilize hand tools, forklifts, and fusion equipment for fabrication and installation.
  • Read and interpret fabrication diagrams, measure and mark pipes accurately.
  • Operate heavy machinery safely and maintain equipment properly.
  • Keep the fabrication shop organized, clean, and safe.
  • Load and unload piping materials using forklifts.
  • Complete safety and compliance training as required.
  • Travel to remote locations to oversee piping assembly, representing our team and values on-site.

About You:

  • At least 1 year of construction site and material handling experience.
  • Experience in HDPE welding and fabrication is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
