Job summary

Thalle is seeking an experienced HDPE and Mechanical Pipe Fitter at our Sanford, NC location. You will install, lay out, align, fit, and assemble HDPE and mechanical piping per project drawings and specifications. The role requires 3–5 years of HDPE/MPE experience, with 8–22 in HDPE pipe experience preferred.

You will read drawings, perform butt fusion and electrofusion welding, maintain quality records, and work safely with fusion equipment and hand tools in a fast-paced construction setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of HDPE/mecanical pipe fitter experience.
• Experience with 8”–22” HDPE piping on heavy civil projects.
• HDPE fusion certification or training preferred/required depending on project.

Responsibilities

• Install, lay out, align, fit, and assemble HDPE and mechanical piping per drawings and specs.
• Work with HDPE 8”–22” diameter and related fittings, valves, and components.
• Perform butt fusion and electrofusion welding using approved equipment and procedures.
• Read construction drawings and maintain fusion records and QC information.
• Operate HDPE fusion machines and supporting tools safely and efficiently.
