Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a General Maintenance Associate to operate power tools, troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical components, and maintain Fusion equipment on customer sites.

You'll follow safety protocols, assist with packing, shipping, and basic repairs, and support a fast-paced team in a hands-on shop or field environment; must be 18+, able to lift 50 lbs, and pass safety requirements. The role offers steady hours and competitive wages.

Qualifications

• Relevant automotive repair or equipment repair experience preferred.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting hydraulic systems.
• Experience wiring or repairing electrical or mechanical components.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate power tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools (grinding, cutting, sanding, drilling) per OSHA guidelines.
• Observe safety for shipping/receiving rental equipment and accessories.
• Package equipment for transport to customer sites.
• Assist with equipment repair and rebuild (electrical/hydraulic/mechanical).
• Perform routine maintenance and fluid/filter changes on Fusion equipment.
• Troubleshoot fleet for repairs and maintenance and follow PPE rules.
• Adhere to housekeeping and safety policies; wear PPE as required.

You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in.Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a General Maintenance Associate!Pay starting at $20 an hour and can vary depending on experience!Schedule: Monday – Friday / 7:30am to 4:00pmResponsibilities:Operate power tools, including griding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc.Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company safety operating procedures.Observe vital safety precautions for shipping and receiving of rental equipment, purchase equipment, parts, and accessories.Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites.Involvement in equipment repair and rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aspects of the Fusion equipment.Maintain Fusion equipment with frequent fluid changes, filter changes, and replacement of wear and tear parts.Follow proper check in and check out producers for rental equipment and accessories.Troubleshoot fleet for needed repairs and maintenance.Follow housekeeping policies.Follow all company mandated safety policiesMust adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbsMay be responsible for providing driver duties and responsibilitiesQualifications:Relevant automotive repair, equipment repair highly preferredFamiliarity with McElroy Fusion equipment is a plus.Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing of hydraulic equipment.Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing of electrical or mehanical components.Ability to lift up to 50lbs.Experience and ability to work with power industrial tools.Experience in operation of powered industrial equipment / trucks / forklifts.Ability to work in a shop or field environment.Remain results-focused in a fast-paced challenging customer service environmentMust be at least 18 years oldValid state issued license is requiredAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
