Insight Global is seeking a Trenchless Engineer to support the design and engineering of trenchless utility installations across a range of infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on HDD.

The role covers electrical, oil & gas, water and sewer, pipelines, data centers, renewable energy, and other underground installations. You will perform calculations, CAD/Civil 3D designs, and technical documentation while coordinating with field teams and project managers.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years of engineering experience supporting trenchless construction, HDD, or underground utility installation projects.
• Strong understanding of trenchless engineering and construction principles.
• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD).

Responsabilidades

• Perform engineering and design work for HDD and other trenchless installations.
• Support trenchless projects from pursuit and preconstruction through engineering, construction, and project execution.
• Develop engineering calculations, designs, drawings, and technical documentation for underground utilities.
• Support a wide variety of infrastructure projects including electrical, oil & gas, water/sewer, pipelines, data centers, and renewables.
• Perform analyses such as stress analysis, hydro fracture analysis, and other trenchless engineering calculations.
• Use CAD/Civil 3D to develop and support designs and deliverables.
• Collaborate with construction teams, project managers, engineers, and subject matter experts.
• Provide engineering support to field teams and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Manage individual project responsibilities, deadlines, and priorities across multiple projects.
• Continue developing expertise in HDD, micro tunneling, direct pipe, and other trenchless methods.
• Travel occasionally for project, client, training, and team needs.
