Job summary

FBR Solutions LLC seeks an experienced HDD Operator in Las Vegas, NV to safely operate horizontal directional drilling equipment for underground utilities installation. You will read plans, locate utilities, and maintain a safe, productive site while meeting deadlines.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of HDD experience, understands drilling fluids and bore tracking, and can work outdoors in varying weather. CDL preferred, willing to travel and OT as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum 2–5 years of HDD drilling experience.
Experience with Ditch Witch, Vermeer, or similar equipment.
Knowledge of underground utility installation and bore profiles.
Ability to read construction plans and utility maps.

Responsibilities

Operate HDD equipment to install underground utilities.
Review project plans and locates before drilling.
Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
Set up drilling equipment and monitor bore path.
Identify and avoid existing underground utilities.
Complete bore logs, reports, and inspections.
Communicate with supervisors and crew for safe operations.
Adhere to OSHA safety policies and local regulations.
