Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking an experienced HDD Locator for field operations across the United States, including Iowa and Nevada, to support fibre and underground utility projects. Work with a full-service infrastructure integrator delivering turnkey solutions and a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will locate HDD heads, provide real-time steering corrections, read utility maps, and coordinate with operators and inspectors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HDD locating experience
• Fiber optic or underground utility construction experience
• Strong understanding of bore planning and utility avoidance
• Experience with DigiTrak, Subsite or equivalent locating systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Valid driver's license

• Locating HDD drill heads using DigiTrak, Subsite and comparable systems
• Providing real-time steering corrections to the Drill Operator
• Reading utility maps, bore profiles and construction drawings
• Identifying underground utility conflicts before drilling begins
• Recording bore information and production data

• Maintaining OSHA-compliant, safety-focused job sites

Salary

• $35-$38 per hour. up to 42 for highly qualified candidates.
