Job summary

InterCon Construction is seeking personnel for nationwide travel to support horizontal directional drilling projects. You will load and transport materials, operate drilling tools, mix fluids, and assist with site clean-up. Basic reamer knowledge and the ability to travel are essential.

Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent; gas/utilities construction education is preferred, with experience installing gas mains or fiber optics a plus. Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Education in Gas and/or Utilities Construction preferred.
• Experience installing gas mains and fiber optic cables preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work on small and large horizontal directional drilling projects.
• Load, unload and transport construction materials and tools.
• Safely operate tools and equipment based on job requirements.
• Assist with drilling fluid mixing and clean-up.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of reamers and operate reamers without assistance.
• Assist with job site clean-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
