Job summary

Utilities One is seeking an experienced Drilling Crew Foreman to lead underground HDD operations in our Portland, OR region. You will manage in-house crews, ensure safety, quality, and client specifications, and drive project success with autonomy.

You'll read job prints, locate utilities, mentor crews, and coordinate with regional managers to meet timelines and profitability targets across a national infrastructure contractor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of underground HDD drilling experience.
• CDL license is required.
• Ability to read job prints and bore profiles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of in-house UG drilling crews.
• Ensure safety, quality, and client specifications are met.
• Manage jobsite documentation, restoration, and bore logs.
• Coordinate with regional managers to meet goals.
• Read and interpret job prints, locate utilities, plan bore paths.
• Train and mentor crew members for growth.
• Drive production while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Oversee equipment use and maintenance for readiness.
• Grow crew capacity to take on more work and earnings.
