Job summary

ATS Welding, LLC is expanding its HDD Bore Crew in Arkansas. We seek a Locator to track the drill path, guide the drilling process, and ensure precise placement of utilities while protecting existing infrastructure.

Experience with DCI or Underground Mag systems and the ability to pass Operator Qualifications are required, with CDL a plus. Travel may be necessary; benefits include weekly pay and end-of-year incentives.

Job description

ATS Welding LLC is expanding rapidly into a full-service construction and welding company with a focus on safety and quality. Following our recent expansion into Arkansas, we are seeking qualified individuals to build out our first HDD Bore Crew!

We are hiring for all positions on the crew: Foreman, Drill Operator, Locator, and Laborers. We do run lean, so the foreman should anticipate either leading as the Drill Operator or as the Locator, depending on preference and experience.

Locator

Uses specialized equipment to accurately track the path of the drill, guiding the drilling process and ensuring precise placement of utilities, while avoiding damage to existing infrastructure. DCI or Underground Mag system experience required. (Underground Mag preferred). Ability to pass Operator Qualifications required. CDL a plus.

Essential Skills

Knowledge of mud mixing, drilling safety, and the ability to follow directions and work as part of a team are crucial.

Physical Requirements

Some ability to travel may be required, work extended hours, and potentially handle physically demanding tasks.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug/alcohol pre-employment test.
