Qualifications

• High School Equivalency / GED is required.
• Associate's Degree is preferred.
• 3+ years coding and/or clinical documentation integrity experience required.
• Strong knowledge of pathophysiology and documentation improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with CDI leadership and colleagues to improve documentation quality.
• Perform pre-visit chart reviews to identify HCC opportunities and ensure accurate risk adjustment.
• Conduct post-claim reviews focusing on E/M level assignments and HCCs.
• Develop education materials for providers on documentation, coding and billing.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect PHI in all tasks.
• Stay current with CMS guidelines and industry updates.
