Responsibilities

The HCBS Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their assigned locations and caseloads of persons served. This includes programming for persons served, staff scheduling, site maintenance, and budgeting. The HCBS Manager will report directly to the HCBS Coordinator and supervise HCBS Direct Support staff.

  • Proficient in computer skills, which may include Word, Excel, Therap, Person Served Financial Database, etc.
  • Available for on-call assistance during emergencies at assigned sites.
  • Ability to complete the DMACC-approved Medication Managers course and attend all mandatory training required for this position.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and one to five years of experience.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Demonstrates leadership abilities in staff supervision and training.
  • Possesses a valid Iowa Driver's License with a good driving record, and maintains adequate liability insurance ($100,000/$300,000/$50,000) when using a private vehicle for job duties.
