Job summary

HomeWell Care Services, Inc. is seeking Home Care Aides to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors and homebound individuals across San Mateo County and surrounding communities.

Duties include companionship, personal care, mobility support, meal prep, and medication reminders. The role emphasizes reliable, empathetic care, adherence to safety protocols, and engaging clients in activities to promote wellness.

Qualifications

• HCA certification (CNA license preferred).
• Caregiving experience: 6 months full‑time or 12 months part‑time.
• Strong communication and a compassionate heart.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance (if transporting clients).
• Current TB test.
• Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks.
• Trustworthiness, punctuality, and maturity.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, meals).
• Support safe mobility and transportation to appointments.
• Prepare meals and give medication reminders.
• Follow safety protocols in emergencies.
• Engage clients in activities they love to promote wellness.
