Job summary

Home Helpers of San Mateo County is hiring experienced caregivers to work in clients' homes across San Mateo County, including Menlo Park. We offer flexible scheduling, daily pay, paid training, and a supportive team.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, transportation, companionship, light housekeeping, and dementia/Alzheimer's care as needed. Part-time shifts are available with weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout San Mateo County.

Responsibilities

• Personal care, bathing & dressing, mobility assistance, and transfers.
• Dementia and Alzheimer's care, hospice support as needed.
• Meal preparation, transportation, companionship, and light housekeeping.

Available Shifts:

• 4-hour shifts
• 6-hour shifts
• 8-hour shifts
• Weekdays and weekends
• Live-In
• Part-Time

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Personal care
• Bathing & dressing
• Mobility assistance
• Transfers
• Dementia care
• Alzheimer's care

Benefits:

• $22–$25/hour
• Daily Pay through Tapcheck

Requirements:

• Age 18+
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation
• Current HCA registration or willing to obtain
• Negative TB test (or willing to complete before starting)
• Able to communicate effectively in English
• Willing to travel throughout San Mateo County, including coastal communities when needed
