Job summary

Fluor Corp in Texas is seeking a skilled rigger and fuel service technician to join our field operations. This role emphasizes safe handling of fuels, meticulous adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements, and practical use of hand and power tools on busy construction sites.

You will inspect rigging gear, manage material handling, and apply knot-tying and crane hand signals as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Job Description

• Follow all health, safely, and environmental requirements
• Perform cleanup duties
• Perform material handling and storage duties
• Identify, use, and care of common hand and power tools
• Use and care of craft specific tools and equipment
• Knowledge and application of craft related mathematics
• Knowledge and use of safety standards and best safety practices relevant to rigging
• Inspection of rigging equipment and hardware
• Knowledge and application of common hitches, Emergency stop signal, Basic crane hand signals, Knot tying (bowline & clove hitch), and use of rigging equipment relevant to craft specific tasks
• Class B CDL is a minimum with Tank (N) and HAZMAT (H) endorsements (Duel endorsement is 'X')
• Class A preferred and may be required
• Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and proper placarding of fuel, oil, lubricants/def fluids, etc., to various locations on the job site in order to refule/service equipment such as cranes, excavators, dozers, graders, et al.
• Maintains quality of fuel during transport
• Loads fuel, oiol, def and other fluids for transport and delivery
• Properly trackd and documents fule columes
• Properly refuels equipment on job site and in job yard per all safety guidelines and requirements
• May operate other trucks according to license classification when not needed on fuel service truck
• Other duties as assigned
