Job summary

BioTouch is seeking a Temporary Medical Courier Driver to transport medical specimens to our laboratory facilities. The role requires punctuality, safe handling of sensitive items, and compliant conduct with HIPAA guidelines.

The position offers a pay rate of $17.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM. Candidates must have a valid State Driver’s License and reliable transportation to perform daily routes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drives Company vehicle to transport medical items including specimens, medicines, equipment or documents.
• Loads and unloads items, ensuring proper handling and security.
• Delivers items to correct destinations in a timely manner per routing specifications.
• Interacts with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintains delivery records and obtains customer signatures where applicable.
• Communicates with dispatch and management about delays or status changes.
• Inspects and maintains the company vehicle per Maintenance Check List.

As a Temporary Medical Courier Driver, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for transporting medical specimens from various locations to our laboratory facilities. Your role is crucial in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of these specimens, which directly impact the lives of patients awaiting diagnosis and treatment.

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Temporary Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Drives Company vehicle to transport medical items including specimen, and sensitive and confidential documents.
• Loads and unloads medical items from vehicle and ensures specimens, medicines, equipment or documents are properly maintained and safely secured based on specific Company requirements.
• Delivers the applicable items to the correct destinations in a timely manner and based on routing specifications
• Interacts with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner
• Maintains accurate and legible delivery records and obtains customer signatures where applicable.
• Communicates with dispatch and management when there are delays with delivers, delivery status changes, etc.
• Inspects, cleans, and follows the Maintenance Check List on assigned Company vehicle
