Job summary

Knowledge Builders Inc is seeking a Software Developer to support the Behavioral Health Authentication and Authorization Solution (BHAAS) project. You will execute the full SDLC, using MVC on .NET Core, JavaScript, Angular 2+, and Web APIs to build secure applications accessing PHI data.

You will work with Oracle 11g, write SQL/PLSQL, and integrate SOA services including WCF and REST/SOAP APIs. TFS will be used for source control and collaboration with ITSM for incidents.

Qualifications

• 84 months of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop/maintain complex n-tier web browser-based applications in C# for n-tier web deployment.
• 84 months of experience with Oracle 11G or higher and writing SQL and PL/SQL queries, updates, stored procedures, functions and cursors, and Oracle SQL query optimization.
• 84 months of experience in developing and maintaining web applications that utilize modern client-side technologies such as HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets.
• 36 months of experience in developing applications that utilize .Net Core MVC.
• 24 months of experience in developing web-based application user interface with responsive web design (RWD) that follow WCAG 2.0.
• 84 months of experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration including development of secure .Net web-services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), SOAP/Restful APIs, message and queue processing, and/or an Enterprise Service Bus.
• 60 months of experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source code management.
• 36 months of experience coding and maintaining applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).

Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Develop using MVC architecture on .NET Core, JavaScript, Angular 2+, Ajax, HTML, XML, Web APIs and WCF.
• Prepare scripts to modify Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, and code stored procedures and packages.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
• Mentor and assist other programmers, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.
• Use a source code repository TFS for checking in and checking out source code branching off new versions of the source code.
• Work within IT Service Management System to take in incidents and service requests for the application, as well as request services from other ITS groups.
• Code applications that access Protected Health Information.
• Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.
• Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor.

Behavioral Health Authentication and Authorization Solution (BHAAS)

Day-to-Day Tasks Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or higher and write code using MVC Architecture, .Net Core, JavaScript, Angular 2 or higher, Ajax, HTML, XML, Web APIs and WCF.
• Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
• Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.
• Use a source code repository TFS for checking in and checking out source code branching off new versions of the source code.
