The Simplot Company invites applications for a warehouse operator role in Grand Forks, ND. The position focuses on safely operating forklifts to move, stack, and locate merchandise and to maintain accurate data entry using a hand scanner.

You will contribute to efficient daily order fulfillment and warehouse operations. Ideal candidates have 1+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work at a fast pace while prioritizing safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to transport totes from production lines to the warehouse.
• Load, unload, high-stack, and stage totes of frozen products.

• Read daily order sheets and retrieve appropriate products from the warehouse.
• Load and unload trailers at the dock.
• Perform pre-operation maintenance checks on forklifts and report issues.
• Charge forklift batteries as needed.
• Balance multiple tasks and work under pressure with good judgment.
• Work independently or with minimal supervision.

Summary

This job is responsible for operating material handling equipment in a safe manner for the purpose of moving, locating, stacking and counting merchandise.

Key Responsibilities
