Responsibilities

• Packs and repacks non-hazardous and hazardous materials and items using proper packing methods.
• Examines prepackaged items to determine repacking or over-packing needs and consolidates shipments with appropriate data.
• Applies packing methods including blocking and bracing per regulations for hazardous materials.
• Performs receiving, storing, shipment, and distribution of various items using material handling equipment.
• May operate equipment like forklifts and stock selectors to handle items up to stated weights.
