Job summary

CHS Inc. in the United States invites applications for a Hazmat Driver/Delivery Specialist in the Automated Fuels Delivery division, covering the Mason City, IA area.

You will transport petroleum products from terminals to customers, while maintaining strong safety standards and professional communication with clients. The role requires valid hazmat and tanker endorsements, a Class A or B CDL as needed, and 2+ years of CDL driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• 2+ years verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a semi-tractor and tanker trailer to deliver hazardous energy-grade materials to customer sites in a safe, compliant manner.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policies for safe driving, including route and hazard awareness.
• Load and unload products by connecting/disconnecting loading arms and hoses; follow all hazardous material handling and transfer safety procedures.
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service during pickups and deliveries, coordinate with customers and internal teams.
• Prepare delivery documentation and daily load/unload reports; record accurate electronic logs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; submit maintenance reports and elevate repair needs and equipment issues promptly.
• Immediately notify leadership of incidents, near misses, spills/releases, or safety concerns; execute required response and reporting procedures.
• Support related tasks such as equipment hookups, site readiness checks, and assigned duties
