Hepaco a Clean Harbors company in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Class A CDL Driver - Hazmat / Tanker to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites for hazardous waste cleanup. The role includes loading, unloading, manual labor, and strict safety compliance.

Two-week paid training academy may be conducted out of state; employment offers comprehensive health benefits after 30 days, 401K with match, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide environmental services leader.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Pass background check, drug test and physical as required by position.
• Complies with OSHA respiratory protection standards and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks including vacuum, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs.
• Load and unload trucks and perform manual labor on site to meet customer needs.
• Proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations and DOT requirements.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Handle site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials as needed.
