Job summary

Hepaco a Clean Harbors company in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Class A CDL Driver Hazmat/Tanker to operate light and heavy-duty trucks at customer sites. This role includes driving various trucks such as vacuum trailers and roll-off trailers for hazardous waste cleanup.

The position requires attending a paid two-week Academy training (out of state may be required) with expenses covered by the company. Health benefits after 30 days and a 401K with company match are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use mobile devices for field reporting.
• Must be able to perform physical duties per job requirements.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical where applicable.
• Compliance with OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks and perform loading/unloading tasks.
• Engage in on-site manual labor to meet customer needs.
• Placard vehicles per DOT and company requirements.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT and company guidelines.
• Follow environmental health and safety operating procedures.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Support site remediation and decontamination tasks involving hazardous materials.
