Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Class A CDL Driver based in Raleigh, NC. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials, perform vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and ensure compliance with DOT and safety policies.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, communicating with dispatch, and participating in ongoing training. Overnight travel 2+ days per week and a strong safety focus are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Active Hazmat & Tanker endorsements.
• Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Consent to MV screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (THC).
• Random drug screening including THC during employment.
• Able to lift 60 pounds regularly.
• Willing to work overtime and travel overnight 2+ days per week.
• Safety-sensitive role handling hazardous chemicals and biological waste; PPE usage.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles in compliance with regulations.
• Rotate on-call responsibilities as part of Emergency Response (optional).
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate digital logs following DOT regulations.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with loading and unloading as needed.
• Secure loads for safe transportation.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Travel overnight as required to complete routes (2+ days).
