Job summary

EnviroServe, a Clean Harbors company, in Newburgh, IN is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites for hazardous waste clean-up. You will load/unload, perform manual labor on-site, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

On-call for emergencies, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL and the ability to obtain Hazmat/Tanker endorsements within 90 days; use of mobile devices; and

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Pass background check, drug test, and physical as required.
• Comply with OSHA facial hair requirements when respirators are used.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as a team.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks including vacuum, Cuscos, guzzlers and roll-offs.
• Load and unload trucks and perform on-site manual labor as needed.
• Ensure proper placarding and comply with DOT regulations.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, and reports; observe safety guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis; handle hazardous materials.

Skills

Valid Class A CDL

Hazmat endorsement within 90 days

Background check and drug test
