Job summary

Satori Group, Inc. in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking a Hazmat Abatement Supervisor to lead field crews on asbestos, lead, and mold projects. You will ensure OSHA/EPA/IICRC compliance, maintain documentation, and coordinate with project managers and clients.

This role requires 2+ years of hazmat remediation experience, travel across Alaska, and preferred certifications. We offer training, paid time off, holidays, 401(k) options, and a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant hands-on hazardous materials remediation experience – or other related field experience
  • 40 Hour Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor certification (preferred)
  • 40 Hour Hazwoper, OSHA 30 Hour certifications (preferred)
  • Articulate communicator
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, able to work collaboratively, willing to problem-solve
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel and Word
  • Valid drivers license, clean background check
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all hazardous materials abatement activities (asbestos, lead, mold, etc), ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, IICRC and other regulatory agencies
  • Verify and document compliance with project specifications, work plans, permits and regulatory requirements daily via computer & tech platforms
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, agency representatives, and others to ensure smooth project execution
  • Train and mentor crew members on hazmat abatement and safe work practices
  • Respond to and manage on-site emergencies or unforeseen hazards effectively
  • Inspect equipment and tools for operational readiness and compliance
  • Travel to project sites throughout Alaska
