Job summary

Resource Options, Inc. is seeking an Environmental HAZMAT Technician in New Jersey to assist with hazardous waste removal and emergency response while ensuring DOT, EPA, and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities include physical labor, operating equipment and maintaining vehicles with safety at the forefront. The role requires OSHA 40 Hazwoper certification (training provided) and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Hazmat work experience.
• Verbal and written communications across the company.
• OSHA 40 Hazwoper (training provided).
• Able to work with and around heavy equipment including forklift.

Responsibilities

• Take water samples to test quality and follow procedure.
• Spill cleanup.
• Moving material, categorize, manifest and label materials.
• Customer facing opportunities, service and selling services.
• Follow EH&S Rules and Regulations.
• Work with documentation regarding HazMat and DOT.
• Train and operate tools and equipment for the trade.
