Job summary

Twin Eagle Terminals & Logistics seeks a Rail Operator to oversee rail functions, assist with loading and unloading liquids and dry bulk materials, and perform general labor at the terminal. You will safely switch railcars, enable safe train movements, and support efficient loading operations.

You will work with a team, follow safety policies, and participate in safety analyses while handling a variety of equipment and procedures in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous rail experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Commitment to Twin Eagle safety culture and PPE.
• Professional interaction with team and third-party personnel.
• Weekend, holiday, and overtime availability.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and act on oral or written instructions via various devices.
• Operate and couple/uncouple rail cars, set brakes, and monitor switches.
• Attend daily safety meetings and follow procedures and policies.
• Judge speed and clearance distance of cars; control train routing.
• Inspect cars, report damages, and assist other terminal areas as needed.
• Conduct general maintenance and housekeeping as assigned.
