Job summary

Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. is seeking a professional driver to transport gas cylinders safely and on time to designated locations.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL with Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements, and a medical card; Class A CDL and Tanker endorsements are preferred. The driver will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure accurate loading records while communicating with supervision on safety matters.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid commercial Class B CDL, Hazmat, Air Brake Endorsements, and Medical card.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous commercial driving experience or completion of an accredited driving school.
• Minimum one year road experience preferred with no moving violations in three years.
• Must be 21+ with an excellent driving record.
• Must lift 50+ lb containers and push 200+ lb cylinders.
• Ability to read and write English; basic math; maintain duty status records.
• Flexible with work hours.

Responsibilities

• Transports cylinders to internal/external customers safely and on time.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; keep vehicle clean.
• Complete driver logs daily.
• Record cylinder/hard-good transactions on delivery tickets.
• Maintain communication with supervisor on safety and customers.
• Operate forklift for loading/unloading of products.
• Enforce loss prevention policies and report incidents.
• Use time management to meet deadlines and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Participate in local safety committee as assigned.
• Provide first line technical support.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
