Job summary

American Welding and Gas, Inc. in Harrison, OH, is seeking a Class B CDL Delivery Driver with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, delivering cylinders and supplies, and completing accurate delivery tickets.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a clean driving record with at least 3 years' experience, and the ability to lift heavy cylinders. DOT/OSHA compliance and excellent customer communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL required with Hazmat endorsement.
• Clean commercial driving record 3+ years.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.).
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and company administered road test.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers.
• Drug Free work environment.

Responsibilities

• Use company vehicle to deliver products and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner.
• Pick up returns at customer place of business.
• Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Comply with all DOT + OSHA Regulations.
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
