Job summary

McAlister Oil is seeking a Hazmat Fuel Driver to operate semi-tractor trailers and fuel locomotives or tanks on customer sites in New Mexico. The role focuses on safe, compliant fuel delivery, accurate data entry into onboard systems, and timely receipting of gallons delivered.

The driver must meet age, CDL, DOT medical, and security requirements, pass background checks, and complete the road test. Work involves outdoor conditions and varied shifts, including overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Must have Valid Class A or B CDL with X endorsement as required by location
• Must possess a current DOT medical card with notation on MVR
• Must pass customer security verification
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment screenings
• Must be able to pass the company road test

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tanker with petroleum products safely, including direct locomotive fueling and storage loads
• Service and fuel locomotives promptly and safely as required by the customer
• Operate vehicle according to DOT rules and regulations
• Complete required safety inspections before and after trips and report defects
• Use onboard computer to track deliveries and receipts of fuel
• Perform light maintenance and keep documentation up to date
• Assist with new employee orientation and training
