Job summary

Rinchem Company, Inc. seeks an experienced Final Mile Driver to safely deliver hazardous materials to customers. You will operate heavy-duty vehicles, ensure compliance with DOT and hazmat regulations, and maintain thorough trip documentation.

Strong safety focus and excellent communication with dispatchers and customers are essential. You will also inspect vehicles, plan routes, and uphold Rinchem's service standards while handling challenging logistics and long-distance trips.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CDL Class A with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum of one year of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, dispatchers, and other drivers.
• Willingness and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, on assigned routes to transport hazmat goods and materials across long distances.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
• Familiarity with Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) and hazmat safety protocols.
• Maintain safety compliance, proper handling, securing, and reporting of hazardous materials; use PPE as needed.
• Document and record all loaded and unloaded items accurately.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the assigned vehicle.
