Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a safety-focused CDL Driver to support chemical distribution in a demanding operations environment. Operate Class 8 tractors, haul hazmat and non-hazmat materials, and perform loading/unloading with documentation.

Role requires DOT/OSHA compliance, proper PPE, and adherence to Brenntag safety standards. Home time and well-maintained trucks are provided as part of our safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; US military experience acceptable.
• Class A CDL with Tanker, Bulk, and/or Hazmat Endorsement as required.
• DOT medical card required; respirator rules if applicable.
• Proficient reading/writing in English; pre-employment screenings.
• 1 year liquid bulk hauling or 3 years commercial driving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a power unit (Class 8) for chemical distribution safely and efficiently.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous liquids and solids; load/unload with pumps and related equipment.
• Complete required documentation and comply with DOT, OSHA, Brenntag safety standards.
• Follow Brenntag operating procedures and safety policies on all sites; maintain equipment.
• Communicate delivery instructions to supervisor/dispatcher and ensure proper paperwork.
