Job summary

HEPACO, LLC in Savannah, GA is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for handling hazardous materials, site remediation, decontamination, and waste management.

Responsibilities include prioritizing health and safety, performing physical tasks, operating equipment, and potentially working extended hours. On-call emergency response duties rotate every other week, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform physical functions per key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use various hand tools.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in varied temperatures and weather conditions.
• Assist in field sampling activities and calibration of meters.
• Climb ladders and scaffolding to access equipment and containers.
• On-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Safely load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
